Bring Your Own License (BYOL) Now Supported when Migrating Windows Server Workloads to Dedicated Hosts in Amazon EC2 Environments

DynaCenter now supports migrating Windows server workloads with a Bring Your Own License (BYOL) licensing option when migrating to dedicated hosts in Amazon EC2 environments.

Important: Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary and applicable rights to use their Microsoft license for servers migrated into Amazon’s dedicated host offering.

Red Hat Servers No Longer Fail to Boot After Otherwise Successful Migration

Fixed an issue where, under very specific conditions, the Red Hat Update Infrastructure (RHUI) client would not install on a target server, which would result in the target server failing to boot after the migration operation completed.

Fixed an issue where, under very specific conditions, DynaCenter would not successfully migrate a Linux server workload if the server used the same name for logical volumes in different volume groups.
